Why the size matters
Every network crops photos that don’t match its shape. When you upload the exact size, nothing important gets cut and the photo stays sharp.
Round profile photos
Most networks show profile photos as a circle. BasePic draws the circle on your photo, so you see what will show.
Safe areas
Some images look different on phones, computers and TVs. For the YouTube banner BasePic marks the safe area — the part every device shows.

What is the best image size for social media?
There is no single size. Feed posts work best at 1080 × 1080 (square) or 1080 × 1350 (portrait), stories and reels at 1080 × 1920, and every banner has its own shape — see the table on this page.
What size should a profile picture be?
A square photo of at least 400 × 400 pixels. Most networks show it as a circle; YouTube recommends 800 × 800.
How do I resize a photo for Instagram?
Upload the photo, open Resize, choose Social and tap Instagram, then Square post, Portrait post or Story / Reel.
Does resizing change my original photo?
No. BasePic makes a new copy at the new size. The original and its link stay as they were.
