BasePic

Scan a document
with your phone camera.

Take a photo of a page, mark its four corners and get a flat, clean scan — as a JPG with a link, or as a PDF.

or drag and drop files anywhere on this page · paste an image with Ctrl+V

How it works

  1. Photograph the page

Tap Upload photo and take a picture of the page, or pick a photo you already have.

  2. Mark the corners

Scan opens on the photo. Drag the four corners to the corners of the page, then tap See result.

  3. Save it or make a PDF

Pick Clean B&W, Gray or Color, then tap Save & get link or PDF.

Straight, in the right shape

BasePic straightens the page and works out its real shape from the perspective, so a page photographed at an angle still comes out as a proper, rectangular page.

Clean B&W removes shadows

Clean B&W evens out shadows and the gray of the paper and keeps the writing dark, like a scanner. Gray and Color keep more of the original look — use Color for forms and photos.

A4 in one tap

Tap A4 to give the page the exact A4 shape. PDF makes a PDF of the scanned page, ready to send or attach to a form.

Made in your browser

The page is straightened and cleaned in your browser. Save & get link uploads the finished scan; PDF downloads it to your device.

Scan document: questions

Open BasePic on your phone, tap Upload photo and take a picture of the page. Drag the corners to the page, tap See result, then Save & get link or PDF.

Does it work for receipts and notes?

Is the original photo kept?

Yes. The scan is saved as a new photo with its own link; the original photo stays as it was.
