How it works

Tap a network, then Profile photo. BasePic crops a square and draws the circle the network will show.
- Center your face
Drag the box so your face sits in the middle of the circle, then tap Save & get link and Download.
Square in, circle out
Every network asks for a square photo and shows it as a circle. BasePic draws the circle on your photo, so you see what will be cut off in the corners.
Bigger is sharper
Profile photos are shown small, but on sharp screens. Upload at least 400 × 400 pixels; for YouTube use 800 × 800.

Keep a little space above your head and around your face, so the circle doesn’t cut it off.

What is the best size for a profile picture?
A square of at least 400 × 400 pixels works on every network. YouTube recommends 800 × 800.
Why is my profile picture blurry?
The photo was probably too small, or cut from a small part of a larger photo. Start with a sharp photo and resize it to the network’s size.
What size is a LinkedIn profile picture?
400 × 400 pixels.
What size is an Instagram profile picture?
320 × 320 pixels.
