under 500 KB.

Upload a photo or a few, and get one PDF under 500 KB — BasePic makes the photos smaller until it fits.

or drag and drop files anywhere on this page · paste an image with Ctrl+V

How it works

  1. Upload photos

Tap Upload photo and pick one photo, or select several at once. JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP work.

  2. Check the size

PDF opens on the photo with 500 KB already picked. Pick another size if your form asks for one.

  3. Get the PDF

Tap A4 page or Photo size, or All photos (A4) for every photo in one PDF. It downloads, and BasePic shows its size in KB.

Several pages, one file

Upload all the pages at once and tap All photos (A4). Every page shares the 500 KB: the more pages, the smaller each photo gets.

Never over 500 KB

BasePic makes the PDF and measures it. If it is too big, it lowers the JPEG quality of the photos, and if that is not enough, it makes them smaller in pixels and tries again. If the PDF still cannot fit, you get a message instead of a file that is too big.

Photo size for receipts and screenshots

Photo size makes each page exactly the shape of the photo, with no white border — good for receipts, tickets and long screenshots.

KB counted the strict way

Here 500 KB means 500,000 bytes, so the PDF also passes forms that count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes.

Image to PDF under 500 KB: questions

How do I convert a JPG to PDF under 500 KB?

Upload the photo on this page. PDF opens with 500 KB picked — tap A4 page or Photo size, and the PDF downloads.

How many photos fit in 500 KB?

It depends on the photos. If the PDF cannot fit, BasePic tells you — then pick 1 MB, or put fewer photos in one PDF.

Do iPhone HEIC photos work?

Yes. HEIC photos are turned into JPG in your browser first, so they go into the PDF like any other photo.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up and no watermark.
