Upload an image for free, with no sign-up, and get a link in seconds. BasePic takes JPG, PNG, HEIC, WebP, GIF, AVIF, TIFF and RAW photos — one at a time or many at once, up to 2 GB each. Every image gets two links: a short link to a page you can send anywhere, and a direct link to the image file itself. BasePic adds no watermark, your image keeps its original quality and size (iPhone HEIC photos are turned into JPG so they open everywhere), and the link works until you delete it, unless you choose auto-delete before uploading.

How do I get a link for a photo?

Tap Upload photo and pick a picture. BasePic gives you a short link right away — paste it in a text, an email or a chat. Anyone with the link can see the photo. No account needed.

Is BasePic free?

Yes. BasePic is free, with no sign-up and no watermark. Each file can be up to 2 GB.

What can I upload?

Photos (JPG, PNG, HEIC from iPhone, WebP, GIF, AVIF, RAW), videos (MP4, MOV, WebM, AVI and more) and any other file, like ZIP, PDF or documents. Programs such as .exe are not allowed.

Can I edit or resize a photo?

Yes. Rotate, crop, blur, add text and layers, resize by pixels, megapixels or file size (for example under 100 KB) or to LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram sizes in one tap, and add filters like black & white or sepia. The original stays as it was.

Can I edit a video?

Yes. Trim it, crop it to 9:16 for Reels and TikTok, rotate it, speed it up or slow it down, play it backwards or as a boomerang, mute it or even out the sound, compress it to a file size like 16 MB for WhatsApp, save the sound as an MP3 or turn it into a GIF. The original stays as it was.

How do I share to WhatsApp, Viber or WeChat?

Tap Share and pick WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat, Facebook, X, Telegram, email and more. On a computer, WeChat shows a QR code you scan with your phone.

Is my location removed?

Yes. GPS location is removed from photos and phone videos before they go online. Only you see where a photo was taken, in the browser you uploaded it from, until you choose Show location on this page. Pages for your uploads are not listed on BasePic and are hidden from search engines.

Who can see my files?

Only people you send the link to. BasePic has no public gallery, the home page never shows anyone else’s uploads, and your pages are hidden from search engines.

How do I delete a file?

Open your short link in the same browser you uploaded from and tap Delete. Both links stop working right away. With a free account you can also delete any of your files from My uploads.

Do uploaded images expire?

Not unless you want them to. By default a link works until you delete the image. Before uploading you can choose auto-delete after 1 day, 7 days, 30 days or 1 year.

Can I get a direct link to an image?

Yes. Every image has a short link to its page and a direct link to the image file (the Long link), which ends in the file name, for example basepic.com/vqSvesFU/beach.jpg.

Can I embed BasePic images in a forum or website?

Yes. Use the direct link, or open Embed codes for BBCode, HTML and Markdown — full size or a linked thumbnail. Forum owners can add a BasePic upload button with the website plugin.

What is the maximum image size?

Each file can be up to 2 GB, and you can upload up to 2 GB a day.

Does BasePic compress my photos?

No. Images keep their original quality and size. Two things change: iPhone HEIC photos are turned into JPG so they open everywhere, and GPS location is removed. BasePic also makes smaller previews for its own pages, and you can resize or compress a copy yourself if you want.

Do I need an account?

No. Uploading, editing and sharing work without one. A free account adds My uploads from every device, albums and an API key.
