How it works
- Upload photos
Tap Upload photo and pick one photo, or select several at once. JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP work.
- Check the size
PDF opens on the photo with 200 KB already picked. Pick another size if your form asks for one.
- Get the PDF
Tap A4 page or Photo size, or All photos (A4) for every photo in one PDF. It downloads, and BasePic shows its size in KB.
Made for upload forms
Application portals often ask for certificates, ID cards and mark sheets as a PDF under 200 KB. Take a photo of the document, upload it here and attach the PDF to the form.
Never over 200 KB
BasePic makes the PDF and measures it. If it is too big, it lowers the JPEG quality of the photos, and if that is not enough, it makes them smaller in pixels and tries again. If the PDF still cannot fit, you get a message instead of a file that is too big.
A4 page or Photo size
A4 page puts each photo on an A4 page with a 10 mm margin. Photo size makes each page the shape of the photo, with no white border. Both stay under 200 KB.
KB counted the strict way
Here 200 KB means 200,000 bytes, so the PDF also passes forms that count 1 KB as 1,024 bytes.
Image to PDF under 200 KB: questions
How do I convert a JPG to PDF under 200 KB?
Upload the photo on this page. PDF opens with 200 KB picked — tap A4 page or Photo size, and the PDF downloads.
Can I put the front and back of an ID card in one PDF?
Yes. Upload both photos at once, then tap All photos (A4). You get one PDF with two pages, together under 200 KB.
The form says the file is too big. What now?
BasePic counts 200 KB as 200,000 bytes, so the PDF is under the limit even where 1 KB is 1,024 bytes. If the form asks for less, pick 100 KB.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up and no watermark.
