Download a video
Download only what you have the right to use. Files stay on BasePic for one hour.
How it works
- Upload your video
Tap Upload video and pick an MP4, MOV, WebM or another video.
- Trim if you like
The video editor opens on Sound. To keep only a part, drag the white handles on the timeline.
- Save as MP3
Tap Save sound as MP3. The MP3 gets its own link and a Download button.
A clean MP3
The MP3 is saved at 192 kb/s and carries no details from the video file, such as the phone or the place it was filmed.
Even out or turn it up
Pick Even out under Volume to set a standard loudness, or Louder for a quiet recording, before you save the MP3. Speed slows it down or speeds it up.
Long videos too
An MP3 can be up to 3 hours long, so a whole talk or concert fits.
Video to MP3: questions
How do I convert a video to MP3?

Can I save only part of the sound?
Yes. Drag the handles on the timeline to the start and the end you want before you tap Save sound as MP3.
Which videos work?
