How it works
- Upload photos
Tap Upload photo and pick one photo, or select several at once. JPG, PNG, HEIC and WebP work.
- Check the size
PDF opens on the photo with 1 MB already picked. Pick another size if your form asks for one.
- Get the PDF
Tap A4 page or Photo size, or All photos (A4) for every photo in one PDF. It downloads, and BasePic shows its size in KB.
For 1 MB limits
Upload forms for applications and claims often stop at 1 MB, and two or three phone photos are already more. BasePic keeps the whole PDF under 1 MB.
Never over 1 MB
BasePic makes the PDF and measures it. If it is too big, it lowers the JPEG quality of the photos, and if that is not enough, it makes them smaller in pixels and tries again. If the PDF still cannot fit, you get a message instead of a file that is too big.
No change when it already fits
If the photos already fit in 1 MB, the PDF is exactly what Image to PDF makes: JPG at 90 % quality, up to 3508 pixels on the long side. Nothing is made smaller.
KB counted the strict way
Here 1 MB means 1,000,000 bytes, so the PDF also passes forms that count 1 MB as 1,048,576 bytes.
