About BasePic
Simple, free and private.
BasePic is a free service for sharing photos, videos and files with a link. It is run by Metoda LLC, 1631 Kapiolani Blvd #2506, Honolulu, HI 96814, United States.
What BasePic does
Upload a photo, a video or any file up to 2 GB and get a short link to share. BasePic also has free tools to edit photos and videos, convert formats, make PDFs and save videos from X, Instagram and Facebook — see the home page.
No account, no ads
You don’t need an account, there are no ads, and BasePic sets no cookies.
Private by default
Uploads are not listed on BasePic and their pages are hidden from search engines. GPS location is removed from photos and phone videos before they go online, and you can delete your files at any time. See the Privacy Policy.
Safe links
Programs and scripts can’t be uploaded, not even inside ZIP files, so a BasePic link never hands someone an app to run. Illegal content is removed — see the Terms of Use.
For developers and AI
A free REST API and an MCP server let AI assistants upload and edit images — see API for AI.
